Daniel Boulud, regarded by many as the greatest chef in the world ,in the kitchen of his restaurant "Daniel" on 65th Street, showing off the secret new ingredient for his famous Labbit stew. Alessandra Gatien is taking the picture!

As a side note, the super-dorky pixel cowboy plaid I'm wearing is my favorite new pattern, by Alexander McQueen via Oki-Ni in London. Space invaders meet Bozeman, Montana meet 60's mod.

Last night we had such an amazing fashion show here during Canada's
fashion week! Amazing models (we used our firends, Ryne did some
popping and break dancing), great outfits from our fall 2008
collection, a sneak peek at our new bag line, falling snow, custom
Munnys, and Kraftwerk! Chad did the music and what more could you want?

The Kidrobot Pirate Store NYC is live! I designed it very Andy Warhol Factory (he would have been 80 this year), and I was full of fears that it would look like a horrible left over freezer bag -- and in fact it came out amazing. We're having our first clearance sale ever for the next 10 days or so, getting rid of the flotsom and jetsom from our warehouse. Then the real pirate store opens for six weeks, with all kinds of art stuff planned. Live painting, toy painting, signings, and some unbelievable surprises.

Our old beloved Prince street store is closed down now, and it really broke my heart when we shut the door yesterday for the last time and I walked by to see it quiet and empty for the first time in four years. And, there's no place for nostalgia if I'm going to keep doing good work... what's coming after for NYC is really amazing, and I'll be mute about that for now to keep you guessing!
