I was talking to someone who works with me a few days ago who is in the process of getting his life together. For me that began happening when I started showing up on time, which happened about the time I turned 30. Showing up on time whether or not I want to helps me develop discipline. When someone comes to work at Kidrobot I usually tell them, "we don't do late. here." One of the most important things, at least for me, is finding the capacity in myself to do what's needed, regardless of whether or not it's what I want to do. It's still a struggle at times. Breaking old habits is a great way to learn to pay attention.
